Subject: No turnsignals IP: Logged
Message: Hey all, I think this is just a bad relay, but maybe it's something else. I have a 94 5.2 reg cab and the turnsigals will work for about two seconds and then not work agian for about 2 minutes, that's why I dont think it's a short. So, if you could just maybe agree with me or correct me, that would be great.
Thanks,
Sam

Message: It's very rsre a flasher unit will fail both sides at once. They are 2 seperate breaker/flashers in one housing. If it was bulbs it would still flash but faster. Not a fuse or you would have no flash going on at all. I don't think there is a relay in this cercute but I could be mistaken. That leaves you with a short or the unlikely total falure of the flasher. There not expencive so I think I would try the flasher first.
So many problems .... So little time

Message: Yeah, I ment to say falsher not relay, and it was both turnsignals...the flasher must have been 150 degrees hot. So I went to autozone and picked one up for 8 bucks and it seems to be working fine now. I'm glad, I don't need any more electronical promblems in my Dak, cause those are the only problems I ever get.
Thanks for the help,
Sam
