Subject: Cleaning up 2 yr old tranny fluid...?
IP: Logged

Message:
My truck's been leaking tranny fluid for almost 2 years now (I'm finally bout to fix it...and possibly gonna install my transgo shift kit at the same time)...anyway...I park out in the road and now there's a giant spot in the road from all the fluid leaking and building up. It's probably a good 2ft+ square. I know cat litter works well at getting up freshly spilled oil...but what can I use on spilled oil that's been accumulating for 2 years. I can't wait around for the street cleaner to do it since even when he comes while I'm away, he goes around it (not that I blame him). Is there anything I can do or is it pretty much gonna have to stay there til my road gets repaved 10 years from now?

I think I would get some of the new solovent that;s been out for some time now and a good stiff push broom. Work it in to losen it up best you can then pick that up with cat litter . If it still looks bad repeat. Once you get it beat down best you can go with simple green.again, use the brush. Most likely you will need multiple aplications with it also. But you should be able to win the war on this one with a lot of elbo bending.

So many problems .... So little time
