I must say i've had a bad and good week. Bad is i lost my dakota. Good is the miracle that i'm alive.
Wednesday a chevy astro ran a stop sign at 50mph and got t-boned by a ford explorer. Well i was facing the van sitting at the stop sign and both vehicles rammed into my dakota. Both of the other drivers had to be cut out of their vehicles while i walked away.
The air bag and obviously strong stucture saved my life.
Once i got the dakota out of the tow yard i noticed two large dents on the driver side cab. The van had hit my front end, flipped around, and bounced off the cab landing on the truck bed.
I'll try to post some pics on my website if everyone wants to see(oh external links not allowed right?). I'm thankful to be alive and my wife sure is too.

I am sorry for your loss, but in the big picture you are still around in one piece. You are a fortunate man.

Glad to hear you're alright. A chevy astro van rear ended me a few months ago...It was wet out, and the guy didn't hit his brakes in time. His whole front bumper fell to the road, and his driver side door opened funny. Just a couple scratches on my bumper....bumper stayed perfectly intact, lol.

My professor's 97 r/c 2wd dakota was rear ended by a cavalier. The cavalier was totaled. The civic's wheels and engine bay components shot under the dakota. The dakota was out of commision for 1 day to get the rear bumper replaced.
