Message: Since seven months I fight with vibration in one of the wheels. It starts at about 40 mph,but sometimes I have a feeling it is present from the start but frequency is much lower.I can feel it on steering wheel, seat and floor. Also during braking the pulsation is felt on pedal. So,I have changed rotors, wheel hubs, tie rods and tires.Rims were inspected if they are not bent. Also tires were balanced twice in different shops and...nothing.It is still there. The last suspect is CV shaft,i think. You should know that before I brought this Dak to Poland, she was seriousle damaged and fixed there.Unfortunatelly, in very lousy way.By now I have found a lot of strange surprises. For example brake lines on rear axle were hammered down on both sides! Why???etc, etc.Let's get back to the clue.Have idea to remove both drive shafts for test drive(4WD).It will show clearly if they were the reason.Hope it is not stupid and I can drive safely.Any advice and help is welcome.

Message: Going with the information you provided I'm thinking you bought a salvaged truck (TOTALED) that should never have been fixed for sale to the public. Your finding strange things on this truck because it was micky mouse repaired to get bigest profet and no reguard to the buyer. Have you checked carfax? If not do so. Your truck is in there. These days it is important to do a search on any auto your buying. Besides totaled autos , there are flood damaged autos being resold to the public. All were totaled. You may well have a bent fram causing tramping. Carfax is your only chance now to try to determine what your up against.
So many problems .... So little time

Message: not sure if you can drive it without the cv shafts on the front. if you can try that.
also check the driveshafts to see if they are bent or dented. if all that checks out, see if you can find a frame shop and have them check the frame out to make sure everything is where it should be.
there are too many holes in those carfax/autocheck places to rely on them. your situation just happens to be one example.
good luck and i hope you find the problem without too much trouble.

Message: A friend who is a front end specialist recently had a devil of a time finding a vibration in a full size Ram - turned out to be related to a marginal ball joint. One more thing to check - good luck !

Message: So I found it.I went today to diagnostic shop and put the Dak on brake test rollers and could see everything working under the truck.Main drive shaft is bent.About 1-2mm in half of its lenght.Next week it will be sent to shop specialised in shafts repairs.Hope that long story will be finished then.

Message: Fight is finished.Truck is great now.
Balancing was not enough.Shaft was allready made of two different pieces of pipe(?)and they were welded not straight. Finally guys cut out old pipes and welded in new one.Everything done in very professional way for 160 USD.
.....everything finished. What I'm going to do now????
