Subject: DID YOU KNOW THAT....... IP: Logged
Message: the 2003 dakota club and quad cabs have the same rear end as the 5.9 R/T. I found this out the hard way after ordering 3 different rear lowering kits for a 4.7 liter club cab before getting the right one. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle

Message: Yep, I know that, but it doesn't concern me since I have a '98 non-R/T. I have the 8-1/4 rear end and it's doing great. It just tells us to make sure of what we have before doing anything. (it took me over a year to figure out what flowmaster was installed on my truck by the original owner.)

Message: Yup - many v6 or all wheel drive have the lighter duty rear - not all are like the R/T.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way
