Subject: Body Lift...now headlights flashing IP: Logged
Message: Hey what's up guys. Just installed a PA 3" BL and now my headlights are flashing when I reconnect the battery without the ignition on. If I pull the Central timing modual fuses they will stop flashing. Any clues to what might have happened? Checked all wires and haven't seen a problem (tightness). Think it could be related to the headlight switch itself? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Message: Sounds more like the factory alarm causing the lights to flash.... on my '03 Dakota the only thing that is connected with the CTM is the headlight flasher relay .... thats how the factory alarm flashes the lights ..... pull the relay and see if the flashing stops .....

Message: Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately I do not have a factory alarm on my truck. No power anything on my truck, that's the wierd thing about it. Manual locks, windows, etc. I brought the truck down to the Dodge dealership where I used to work and my buddy hooked it up to the scanner. Couldn't really find any thing on it. If I do pull the relay the flashing will stop. We ended up ordering a new CTM. Hopefully this will correct the problem and it's not a snapped wire somewhere in the system.
