there is a loud hissing noise when i start my truck and it gets louder when i shift into drive and also reverse...i thought there may be something wrong at the throttle body but once it runs for a while it stops. So im thinking it has something to do with the water temperature, but i dont no and i dont feel like taking it in to get checked. What do you think it could be and what to do bout it

Have you done anything with your stock intake? With the stock intake you usually don't notice it, but if you're running an aftermarket one, you might be hearing the IAC opening on the tb. It's a loud hiss...gets louder when you rev it a lil and goes away once the engine is warmed up (it's really noticeable in the cold winter months). If you haven't messed with your intake and have never heard it until now, you may have a vacuum leak somewhere or something on your intake may not be sealed properly.

As long as it isn't a vaccuum leak, or something else wrong, just pretend and tell people it's the supercharger warming up.
