 Subject: Lock or unlock driver's door

Hello,
An issue just appeared this week that is bothering me. I am unable to lock or unlock the driver's door with my key fob. All other doors lock and unlock properly. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks.

That happened to me on 2 seperate occasions two years ago. The first time, it happened at work. When I got home, the problem seemed to have solved itself. Roughly a year later, it happened again. Once again it was an isolated incident. Both times it was the driver side door. 2000 Quad Cab...

Quick question: does the power lock still function with the door switch? If so, then I'd suspect the Central Timing Module behind the glove box. It contains the receiver from the remote keyless entry then sends signal to the appropriate relay on the circuit board to unlock the door(s). Maybe a relay on that board going bad? Unfortunately you can't repair the CTM. Good Luck!

Pacman, Thanks for the reply. The power door switch does not unlock the driver side door either.
