 Subject: Fog light switch for a 98

Question: I obviously have a 98 dakota BUT it did not come with the factory foglights. Instead, I put on a safari bar for extra protection and I came across some new driving lights that have the dodge ram logo on the covers. I noticed that my truck already has a foglight wiring harness integrated BUT
1. I'm not a 100% sure of the wattage that the lights I have will cooperate with the stock harness (but they look like the center lights on the bumper of a jeep)
2. I need a fuse for them in the under-the-hood fuse box (shouldn't be hard to find, I know)
3. I need the foglight switch
I don't think the 98's had the foglight switch integrated into the headlight switch because it's a pull-knob design and there's a small square next to the headlight switch that looks like it could be cut out for a toggle switch. I know I can probably get a crappy harness and wire it myself but I want it to look clean, know what I mean? Thanks

I have the factory fog lights on my '98, and there is a square push-button for the fog lights left of the pull knob for headlights, this is just to verify what you saw.

Thanks! that helps me alot, at least I know that that's what it's for. now i just need to score the switch. I forgot to mention that the rest of the harness where the switch plugs into is in my dash.

im in michigan 48174 area code. i know theres a dealer in the city next to me but i was wanting to get the part cheaper then the stealer, excuse me, dealer would give it to me for. thanks for the part #
