I was enjoying your pictures until I got to the one where you are flipping everyone off. My 5.2L 4X4 turned a 13.927 @ 102 All motor, street tires.Would be nice to meet you at the track some day. It would be fun. Dan

13.9 is very impressive for a 4X4 N/A. I saw your mods and I see why, 11.5:1 compression must be whats making your power. My best is a 13.9 @ 101 on street tires. I still cant hook up though. That 13.9 was on a 2.3 60'. I would say im not doing to bad since I havent touched the engine or tranny yet. I really need a stall, M1, 58 mm, and a flash..Than I should be good for low-mid 12's.

I would like to meet you at the track someday. Where are you located. Im from around Fort Wayne, Indiana. If you know were that is. Ill be moving to PA in september for school though.

You would probably benefit using QA1 R series adjustable shocks in the front and some sticky tires in the rear. The QA1s are 90/10 type shocks. They will let the front of your truck come up fast when you launch. It helps with weight transfer. I think Summit has them. Also add some spring to the right rear leaf.If you could hook up you would be into or very close to the 12s. You are doing real good with it on street tires. I just put mine in four wheel drive and blow up the tranfer case after two runs. We would be side by side. My reaction time was .345 and 60' time was 2.309. I am in Tennessee now. Moved here a year ago from Michigan.I am in the process of building a 471 B engine for the Dak now. Dan

I looked into those shocks. Looks like I wont be getting them for a while though at 140 bucks a peice. Im hitting the track again next week. I have a few more things that could improve my time. I added the roll pan, and removed a few brackets that werent of use. Than Im going to remove the front sway so the front end can lift a bit more. If I have time I will relocate the battery to the right rear. Im also thinking about removing the soud insulation stuff under the carpet. I dont mine sound and vibration so to me this isnt of use either. That should be a good 200lb weight reduction. I want to eventually get my dak below 3000 Lbs. It will probally be around 3200 or so if I do all of that.
