Got an 04 4x4 club and would like to put some bigger wheels on her. Stockers are 16x8, but thinking 17 or 18". DO NOT Want 20's...its a 4x4, not a pimp machine. My truck is silver and would like to go with black centers. Any suggestions on wheel/tire combinations would be appreiciated.

You would need to reprogram the speedometer, but larger diameter =s better MPG. Probibly better ride and braking too because of a larger footprint.

I think 18" wheels look the best on our trucks. I have yet to see a set of 20s that actually look right (to me) on the truck.
With 285/55/18s the overal height is just a little smaller than the stock 265/70/16s.
Check this out and see what you like. I don't know if there would be any rubbing issues with tires this wide. Someone has an answer.

The search has begun...Would have to agree with you modain, 18's do seem to look the best. If anyone is interested in viewing a kota with different wheel/tire combo's...check out wheelguyz.com. They have a cool virtual viewer with tons of wheels to choose from.

I went to wheelguyz, and the make and model search leaves out the entire Dakota range of 1991-1996.
So I left the site. :(
