I know this is a dakota forum but I know alot of you guys have quads and might be able to help me. I have a Honda Recon and the oil is cloudy, milk colored. I changed the oil 4 times and it keeps turning milky colored. Do any of you know what may be causing this and what should I do to correct it?

i got it in my oil multiple times by going through way too deep of water and the quad would stall out and i would have to change out the oil multiple times until someone told me a trick of putting some diesel in with your oil and it evaporates all the water inside and dries it out but u are just supposed to run it for like 5 seconds and then immediately drain it i didnt believe it until we tried it and it actually worked

You could also be getting gas into the combsution chamber thats not burning up. The bowl on the carb could be stuck open.

I had seen the dipstick tube come loose out of the engine and water get in there. Check that out too. See if its loose.
