So instead of installing a LATCH to keep children safe, toyota opted to disable the airbag cut of switch and put children at more of a risk in a crash - I guess it IS about the money.

Message: Geez, I hate seeing "cost-saving" measures like that. It ends up costing lives and the reputation of the company that made the vehicle. Shame they aren't willing to spend the extra money to properly correct the problem. Reminds me of the "Sound Dampener" they've been installing in the last generation of Tacomas to fix the passenger airbag rattle; they did this instead of fixing the bracket that would come loose.

Message: I hate to say this.....the Tundra is 100000x nicer than any Dodge Dakota. I'm saying this and I own one.

Message: I think they posted this, because everyone talked about the ball joint recall. Obviously ALL makes have problems.
I don't know about a Tundra being 100000x better. Did you use a calculator to figure that> LOL! I think it's apples and oranges and to personal preference.
