Message: I had a S-13 (Sonoma, to the uninitiated). 4-Cyl, 5 speed.
It was the very first of the final model.
Rode smooth, had great blue paint, set off by a white shell.
Drove it 265,000 miles before trading it on the Dakota.
Why?
To go 265,000 miles required; an alternator, 2 water pumps, heater core, 3 radiators, three clutch overhauls to eleminate the squeeking, two front brake overhauls and two engines. And 5th gear synchromesh was gone, and it wouldn't stay in gear.
My 3.9 automatic Dakota has 518,000 miles on the original engine and transmission.
Used Amsoil in both.
Dodge is better.

Message: You'd have to get rid of all the plastic first, because plastic floats. Do ya think four rims would do the job?
