Subject: Torsion Bars IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1987 Dodge Dakota and I recently had larger tires put under it. We had to crank the torsion bars up about a half an inch, but did not do anything to lift up the back. The truck does not really look any higher in the front, but I was just wondering if it could cause me to have alot of front end problems by cranking the torsion bars up. Thanks.

Message: The main thing would be the alignment. If it was realigned on the front end then uyou shouldn't have any problem.
I would suggest putting 1" blocks in the back and level it out a bit. Of course, you would have to do the alignment again.
