Just an FYI regarding some '87 - '96 Dakota items I have up for auction over at ebay (eBay Item number: 320001721721). An ebay search for "Dakota bed pad" should get you there, and the auction runs through Jul-06-06, 18:15:27 PDT:
The auction is for a Bed Pad & Tonneou Cover “Combo Pack” that fits the 1987 – 1996 Dodge Dakota regular or club cab with short bed (6.5 foot) pickup truck.
-The bed pad (liner) is a high quality USA-made 1/4" thick rubber pad with a non-slip nipple backing in very good condition, only needing a good cleaning.
-The TekStyle by Design Frame Mounted Tonneou Cover System is a top-of-the-line premium-quality non-invasive bed covering system that is functional in its current condition, but that would benefit from a little TLC to return it to top-notch condition. The actual cover has all snaps solidly in place, and would benefit from a clean up and visit to a commercial awning manufacturer, seamstress, or similar to repair the 1” long tear (see photos), and to re-sew the boarder hems. The frame is in generally good condition, but is missing one mounting screw (see photo), has one snap base missing (see photo), and several that are slightly “stressed”. A replacement mounting screw and replacement snap bases should easily be available from the manufacturer.
This auction is a great opportunity to both dress up and protect your Dakota and its contents at an opening bid that is a mere fraction of the several hundred dollars this pair of items would cost new!!!
