 Subject: Whistling noise

A whistling noise recently developed, like a low whistle. It gets louder as you accelerate. Also, by just revving the engine, the sound doesn't come up. Could it be an exhaust leak? But if that was the case, wouldn't it whistle just by revving in park/neutral? Help please!

When the driver's window is down, the wind comes in and enters the left ear and exits the right. Maybe that's what you're hearing.

Where does the whistling noise orignate from? I have a hunch it might be u-joints.
