What are the pros and cons for over or under the rail for a spray-on bedliner such as Rhino?

Thanks

i'm not really experienced but i have an over rail rhino and it's been nice to be able to set stuff on the side and slide it in. for longer things it's easier than trying to gently set it in the bed without touching the rail. don't know if that's helpful but my .02

Did mine over the rail. Rails take a beating over time. This saves them considerably.

So many problems .... So little time

Mine is over the rails. Red truck and black liner looks good, however, if you ever want to put a color matched fiberglass cover on the bed. Make sure you don't go over the rails so far that it would extend past the edge of a hard cover if installed. You would see a little bit of liner on the bed side when the lid was down. Nothing major just looks kind of goofy.

I've got a Line-X over the rails and love it...Have had to lay bike bars on the rails and the liner has definitely kept the rails from getting messed up. And truck is molten lava and also looks good with black spray over rails....
