I found a 96 RAM, Big Horn 4-door, 4.7 V-8 automatic with 9800 miles on it.
Any ideas what it might be worth?

The 4.7L engine was first available in the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In 1996 the Ram only came with the 5.2 & 5.9 V8s.

and everyone ive talked to said screw the 4.7 in the 1/2 ton, go for a hemi

I was wondering about that later this evening, Bee. I think I transposed numbers again.
I also agree with the idea of the newest Hemi, that cuts out cylinders at speed, but I lust for a Diesel.

9800 miles. 4.7 auto, Big Horn 4-door.

Have you guys seen any of the Powerblock TV shows?
It is amazing what is being done with diesels.
There is even a diesel dragster.
