Message: Ok. My A/C is stuck on the defrost. There is a vacuum line tapped off of a line running from the master cylinder across the firewall and into the firewall. There is an additional line tapped off of this line (hard plastic line) and it broke. When it broke I heard some hissing. Is this the vacuum line for my A/C controls? If so, does anyone know where it connects into the motor? I can not figure this out for the life of me!

Message: In my old 95, I had one of those hard plastic lines break. I just took a piece in to advance and they found me a piece of rubber hose that fit over it. I just ran about a 6" piece (3" over each side of the break). Fixed my problem.
The line running into the firewall meets up with others at the back of the HVAC unit. From there, other lines run down to the actuators. This is how you switch settings.
