Hey to all of you out there. I have a 1990 Dak 2wd, V6. Also with the stock gears, 3.21 I think. I have lifted the thing about 5in and run 31 inch tires. I really noticed the loss in power at all areas. Espically high way speeds. Basically, I want to go with a lower gear ratio to recover some of the power I lost. I went from a stock 215x75x15 to a 31x10.50x15. Roughly 3in. I have been told to go with 3.92s or 4.10s. I dont travel at all in the mts (in Florida) and I do some dirt flengen. But I also do the highway thing to school and back. Whats the verdict? Thank You for the help.
