Craftsman make good beam torque wrenches($30-$200), but if you are into the click type, I recommend Precision Instruments($200-$300)

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.

I have a craftsman ft-lb torque wrench and a pittsburg (harbor freight) in-lb torque wrench.

The big thing to pay attention to is the +/- on the accuracy. cheaper ones are less accurate than more expensive ones as a general rule.

good tools to own.

If you have none and are only buying one go with 1/2 inch. You can use a 3/8 adapter if it's a socket problem and you well have the ability to do bigger jobs like lug nuts as just one common example. heads require 1/2 inch and so on. Another plus is longer handle. Lots easier to control exactly where you want it and keeps your arms from hurting the next day lol

So many problems .... So little time

I needed an inch-pound to do the plenum plate.
I bought an inch/pound wrench from eMaxAction.com
They have big selection.
I also have a 150 foot-pound Sears.
