Its all in how you buy em. I just bought a 2006 dak, 4.7 2wd. I glanced at the plain daks and turned away. Then i stepped around the corner and there she was. Solid black with 17" crome rims. Every option available. She is SWEET> But the new colors are ugly and the dak with the 15" rims look wimpy comparable to a mazda or something. Large tires and rims and the black paint with tinted windows do the trick. Will try to get pics up. The car salesman was right. I paid $25,000 and some change. The same price as a 2005 ram.

The point of mid size truck isn't to be bigger, but more power in the small package. The new body style doesn't even offer a regular cab. The smallest one is two feet longer than mine and weighs as much as a full size truck and that includes the Nissan's and Tacoma's. My RC 03 has a 1850 load capacity, the new ones are 1500 or less. That's the problem. Trucks are turning into soccer mom station wagons or Mega sized ego boosters with no utility. I love seeing a big 2500 truck pulling a little boat or utility trailer, OOOOh... Macho!!

Shane,

Why didn't you pay invoice pricing for that Dak?

Ask around, they almost well always sell for invoice, sometimes even a little less, they still get paid some money.
