What year you talking? Mine (97) is located in the tank, and is part of the fuel pump assembly, so you are looking at $215-$250.

If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!

98 3.9.
Replaced mine when the pump bit the dust at 400,000 or so, miles. It was clean.

Do you want to replace it out of boredom, or some other reason?

mine is a 94 and the filter is part of the pump inside the tank like the 97 in the other post.

you might not be able to replace just the filter. if is anything like my 94 you have to replace the pump because the filter is part of it and usually isn't sold seperately.

toolfan, I am looking for the same thing. Larry says some auto parts stores do sell the filter/pressure regulator separately from the pump. I am going to look for it. Check it out in your area and let me know. Thanks.
