 Subject: headlight and taillight covers?

I have a set of avs(auto ventshade) tailite covers and had a set of their heads. the heads never really fit well and i lost one on the interstate. and the tailite covers just dont cover all of the red of the tailite, and i spent an hour trying to get them lined up correctly, and have tried everything short of just taking off that velcro crap and double side tapeing them on. i think that they are held too far away and this would fix it but i want to be able to remove them for cleaning purposes. any one got good looking and fitting ones? and any one know how to get the white letters off of the covers, i have a black truck and want it all black not with little white letters!
