after a rain the other day I noticed water on the driverside floor. I have noticed it before but never this bad. The carpet is soaked. Can anyone tell me where it may be coming from. Iam sure its not good for the floor metal.

Thanks

I had a slight leak (not a carpet soaker), got in one day while it was raining and saw I had a drip coming from the top of the windshield. I had had it the windshield replaced about a month prior. I guess the gasket didn't seat correctly. The shop fixed it no charge. Other than that, I would be pulling carpet back then have someone run a hose over the vent grille just infront of the windshield. Look inside for any seepage into the cab from under the dash. Let the hose just trickle. You want to mimic the rain. A stream too strong and the water may carry over any openings. You may have to run the water a minute or two before you see anything depending on how small the leak is.

Good luck.

Do what Other bill said.My 05 had a bad leak after heavy rain.Ran the hose down the windshield and saw the water trickle in above the emergency brake pedal. After two trips to the dealer they found an open seam on the firewall behind the dash and just siliconed it up.Over a year now with no leaks.Only problem with this truck so far.
