Someone will have to help to help me with the years but Gen 1 are the first models 1987 to 1990 or 1991 there abouts with no magnum engines. Gen 2 are the old models with magnum engines, whatever year that started until 1996 or 1997. Gen 3 is the current model 1996 or 1997 until 2002 which should be the last year. Gen 4 should be the redesign for 2003.
