color and such are no big deal, just has to have all the above and i perfer unmodded, but id still consider one if it was.
a 97-99 with lower miles would be considerd, too.
i used to have this truck but it had 180,000+ miles and i had to let it go, now i miss it and i want another, and it has to be a 5 speed so, single cab R/T's need not apply, but thanx tho. i know these exist but the problem is just finding one? also im located in Northern California..

180K on a well-maintained Dakota is nothing. I have a 2001 RC 4.7 5-spd 3:92LSD with 143K now. It gets prime stuff like Mobil1, Bosch Platinum, K&N/homebrew, HO cams, Edelbrock IAS, Michelin Pilot LTX, SSBC rear discs, and greasable ball joints. I bought it to be a "keeper"; so far..so good. Remember that 5-speed Daks have always been rare, period. Good luck.

Ive got one. 2002-45000 miles. blue it looks like the one on the home page of this website except the exterior is completely stock. The only mods are k&n filter and a flowmaster 40 series with a 3" dump. I have always used mobil 1 fully synthetic. It's not really for sale but anything is for the right price.

Talk about hard to find. I located a Black RC motorsport with 5 speed. I.ve been told there are very few of these. Its alot of fun.

DC made 1028 Dodge Motorsports Limited Edition Dakotas in 2001, in Flame Red, Black and Silver. Since they were dealer-order-only, a high percentage were 4.7 5-speeds. There were 13 Black RC's with 4.7, 5-speed and 3:92 rear end. There are 2 lengthy posts on dd.com on the trucks under the General and V-8 boards.

I guess if you're looking for used, this does not apply.
But I still don't understand why, people don't just order the truck that they want?
I ordered my Quad Cab, 01, 4.7, SLT, 5 speed manual,with all kinds of things, including two tone paint, white with silver bottom, INfinity sound, slider rear window, trailer, tires, etc., etc,
All of it for invoice cost, nothing extra except TT&L.
That was when they were still putting the underhood, under cab insulation on the SLT's, etc.
Unless you're looking for used, ( and I can understand why you would be, often a big savings), just ORDER WHAT YOU WANT!

DC no longer takes orders for Regular Cab Daks, just CC and QC's. Packing 500 extra pounds for a new CC compared to my '01 RC doesn't appeal to me one bit, either.

01 moto, my post was mainly directed at the posts the that stated they wanted a manual, but...
Weight?
I weighed my QC, the way I drive it, I think it was 4430#'s, THAT'S heavy! But I can and do so muck with my family, and my QC.
Good thing I'm putting out over 360 ft/lbs. at he crank!

Buy what you want. If there isn`t one order it.
Just act firm, cause the dealer wants to sell what is there.
I ordered cause i deffinitely need some things, for example:
V8, manual gear box, rear drive only,(gain driveability and is a much lighter set up), tire and handling group, convenience group (over head comp, cruise, lighting) etc.
On the other side, there are certain options that i simple hate. The auto trany and ABS, (ABS keeps conflicting w/ my brain`s own ABS under "scary" sittuations).
I ended opting for all options available, minus these two, power seats and steering wheel controls. It arrived in 20 days,
