Message: Can't give you much info regarding antennas since I use a cheap wally-world one on top and just run the wire into the passenger side door.
As far as the cb goes, I got it mounted under the dash in the center...when you take your dash apart, under the radio/heater/ac controls, etc is a panel that comes off (prolly depends on the year of your Dak). I just took that off and drilled my holes and mounted the bracket there there. Can't see the holes if you choose to remove it later either, I don't think. I originally spliced the wiring in with my cigarette lighter/accessory plug, but after a while I didn't like it being hardwired in when I wanted to remove it so I wired it up to one side of my splitter and then I use the other side for my radar detector or anything else I may want to plug in.

Message: Oh and make sure you don't wire it up to the backwards or you'll be making a trip to Autozone for more fuses...lol. I did that when I wired it to the splitter...they didn't use your standard red/black wiring.

Message: Spend some time reading up on it.
Lots of good info here, especially in the installation related topics.

Message: Well I mounted my CB radio to the top of a 2x4 and slid the other end out the back of my center seat.
PA... (If you have a 3.9, 5.2, or 5.9 engine) You know where the back of the air box connects to the truck using a bracket? Well I un did that bolt and pushed the PA's bracket overtop of that threaded rod. Then just install the bolt and you should be good to go. I wish I could have had pics but o well
