Message: In the constant search for a few more ponies i have come up with an idea. I know the 92-93 V6 had more power than 94-current. Would swapping the computer for a 92-92 make a difference? I also heard the exhast manifolds are bigger, would these help out as well? Well that's my thought for the day, by the way it's a 95 X-Cab V6 Auto.

Unless you don't feel like spending a lot of money on the V6 - V8 changeover (and there's a lot more involved than just a simple swap)...don't do it. If it's for racing...go for it.

Message: No i don't have the money to spend since it'd be more than just swapping motors. i'm trying to find cheap ways to get more power out of the V6
