Subject: Seat bolts...... IP: Logged
Message: I just put an amp under my seat. While doing so, I had to take my driver side seat out. Well when I wanted to screw it back in, I couldn't get the front left bolt to screw in. Apparantly there is some kind of insert that the bolt screws to inside of the hole of the frame. I don't know what happened to the insert or whatever its called. Anyone one else have this problem? Know a fix?

Message: did you get underneath the truck and check? Don't know what year your vehicle is, but older vehicles have bolts that go on from underneath. Or perhaps a keeper nut slipped out of place. Can you access it from underneath the car?

Message: i looked underneath, but I cant access it, it goes right into the center of the frame rail. I think it is a keeper nut like you said, because the whole is too big now for the bolt, it is a 2002 club cab, 2wd 4.7
thanks for the reply
where would i get another keeper nut?
