Subject: Oil Pump GPM?

Message:
What is the GPM of the oil pump of the 3,9 engine?
Or
How much oil does it pump at, say, 2,000 RPM?

I have never seen one rated any other way but Pressure. I guess there would be a gallon amount but veriable with differant pumps in differant engines. They are equiped with a relief valve to limit pressure which is the logical thing to do. Pressure is your only concern anyway. As the engine wears, the relief valve doesn't open as far making it possible to maintain proper oil pressure for years and with differant weight oils with in reason.

So many problems .... So little time
