Message: Just pushed the old Dak to the limit. Went to Home Depot and loaded 75 Pavestone retaining wall blocks, roughly 1875 pounds, almost to the bump stops. Not bad. Hauls just as much as my old half ton Chevy.

Message: I put over a yard of top soil in the bed of my truck last summer (smashed the bump stops) and it hauled it just fine. BTW that about 2300 lbs. BAd thing is that I just recently had about 1000 lbs in it, hit a pothole a broke a spring on the driver's side...what luck!!
If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!

Message: loaded mine down with sand all the way from the cab to the tail gate and as high as the top of the bed rails. truck handled it fine and it still had about 1 1/2-2inchs before resting on the bump stops. cant do that now with the truck lowered 2inchs in the rear. :D

Message: Gotta love it.
I have an 01 QC 5.9L and had 24 sheets of 4x8 gypsum, 4 five gallon pails of joint compound, 1 five gallon pail of paint primer.
Rode like a dream.
Gotta love it, tough little trucks.
