Well, I just got a new 2001 Dakota and all I have to say is that I love it! I ended up going with the RC Sport 4x4. Here are just a few of the specs....
Brilliant Silver Metallic paint
V-6
Sport Plus package
5sp
LSD out back
3.55's
RBK cd player.
The truck is great. Going from the Ram to the Dak I was a bit worried, but all I have to say is that I couldn't have made a better choice. I'll be making more posts in the future here, for sure!

watch out for the paint. i just bought a 2001 dak as well, with the bright met silver..and it scratches fairly easy.

I just found out that mine hit the assembly line this morning. Bright silver does look like a good comprimise between no-see-um (seems to be a problem with me, I've had 3 cars hit me in 4 years, 2 times my car was parked) and always looking dirty (our driveway is gravel)
