Message: I have an 03 SLT 4x4 quad cab and recently the abs light came on followed by and ungodly noise in the front end. took it in to the regular shop i go to and they told me i needed a new bearing on the driver side. had that done, $400 and the light didn't go off. so took it to dodge dealership and told them to look at the other side bearing and they came back and told me i needed a new wheel speed sensor in it. ok had that done $300 the light went off. a day later there was that ungodly sound again from the front end. took it back to dodge dealership and now they tell me i need a new bearing on that side they just put the sensor in. here's my question...i thought i read that the speed sensor is the same thing as the abs sensor ie theres only one sensor in the wheel. so i just had them install a new sensor which is now ruined and they're goin to have to put a bearing in with that same sensor for another $500????

Message: Have a heart to heart with the Dodge boys. Remind them you paid them to FIX the problem. At the first sign of waffling ask to see the Area Rep.
Suggest you are not only related to David Horrowitz, you date the daughter of your local consumer complaints guy on TV. And, you know (www.) Trouble Shooter Tom and he loves exposing cheating car dealers on national radio.
Especially if you still have a warranty.
