Subject: Bent torsion Bar IP: Logged
Message: Anyone ever run into this problem? Recently noticed that my driver's side torsion bar looks bent, and is rubbing on the cross-member. Should the dealer cover this? Could the bar just be remove and turned 180deg. and re-installed, or just get out the grinding wheel and carve out that portion of the cross-member?

Um..How about REPLACING the torsion bar, instead of compromising your alignment and handling, and risking a crash?
