Message: Well, I havent seen this issue come up in a while so I thought I would put it back out there again.
I am looking to replace all 4 shocks on my 99 5.2 SLT 2WD (dont know if the specs matter or not).
I dont need anyhting super-duper, but some nice, mildly priced, shocks that can handle light towing on the rear and normal suspension requirement issues on the front would be nice.
Any ideas?

Message: I have Rancho RS5000's on mine. Nice riding and not as expensive as the Edelbrocks and Monroe Reflexes (usually). Paid about $36 a piece for my front ones when they were on sale at Truckperformance.com back in December. I think they are normally $42 or in that neighborhood.

Message: I bought the RS 5000 series for the front and they wouldn't fit, wtf. I have a 99 5.2 4x4 auto with 3in b-lift. Ended up going with some Brusiers from Car Quest and they work great just wondering why the Rancho's wouldnt fit.

Message: They have different types of RS 5000 shocks according to your lift. You may of picked up some for a truck with no lift rather than ones with for a 3" lift. It happens.
