Message: My new 99' R/T dropped it's driveshaft ( end broke under normal driving ) the 1st couple weeks I had it. The air conditioner has gone out and the intake manifold had to be relaced. The rear end had some broken gears and a few minor other things and it only has 40,000 miles and never raced. Sometimes you get a bad egg, that's why there are lemon laws. They say a car built at a certain time of the week or month may have more problems than others. Sounds like u can make use of the lemon law. lol Was this a new vehicle? I just bought a 2001 Durango R/T and the trans went out 60 miles later. Good thing I had bought an extended warranty.

Message: Note to stupidodge: Go back to school and learn how to spell before you rant about how bad something is. You seem like the typical redneck who will b.i.t.c.h. about anything.
Your story sounds pretty suspicious. You thought the other 10 times were just bad luck? If I bought a certain manufacturer's vehicle and it gave me trouble like that twice, I would go to some other make of vehicle. Shows how smart you really aren't. If you went back 10 times after one problem, seems Dodge/Chrysler is smarter than you and saw a sucker coming through their door every single time.

Message: To get to 230,000 miles on my 88 Sonoma required 2 engines, 3 radiators, 1 heater core, 1 front break assembly, 1 alternator, 2 clutch repairs and when I got rid of it the syncromesh was out, and I had to hold it in 5th.
I don't think that makes all S-10's and S-13's bad.
So, stupidodge, what's your point?

Message: maybe if you took the time to research the truck you bought you might have found out it was a dog before you spent any money. Let the buyer beware. There are lots of people out there that will gladly take your money if you let them. Make an effort to know all you can about what ever your buying before you take one dollar out of your pocket. Stop bitchin and do something about it.
