So I took my dakota in to the shop to see how my breaks were and the leafspring was broken, and the other side was cracked.. Anyone have any tips on replaceing these or had this problem? its olny a 3.6 V6.. Not like im goin crazy on the gas or nothing.. i dont know why just my luck... Shops sayin 900 to fix it!!!

I dont know how much for the springs, but it is a rather easy job with basic tools and 2 jack stands and a floor jack. I replaced mine in about half an hour after I soaked all the bolts in PB blaster for an hour. Straight foreward job if you Think before you Do.
