Message: I want to put a 5 speed manual tranny into my Dakota. I currently have the 3 speed automatic in it right now. What all would it take to convert my truck to a manual tranny? I already know what tranny I need that will bolt right up to the engine. Do I need a different flywheel, driveshaft, mounting bracket? If you have any experience in this type of job please help me! I want to make sure I have all the right stuff before doing this. Thanks in advance!

Message: For starters you will need a new wire harness, PCM, new flywheel, presure plate, clutch disk, clutch slave and master cylinder,....

Message: Well, I know I dont have a PCM, only a spark controll computer, and thats the only computer there is on my truck. But do I still need a different wiring harness, or can I get away with it?
