I wanted to extend my thanks to this forum for the sharing of information.

This weekend, I changed rotors, brakes, shocks, and swaybar bushings on my 2000 QC 4.7. The information I was able to gather on this forum was great and the information invaluable. This community certainly provided insight and guidance in this process.

The only 'real' issue I encountered was changing the swaybar bushings. This proved more time consuming than I imagined. Thought I had 'game', but apparently not. Now that I know to reinstall the bar from the outer mounting points inward to the frame mounts, the task would have been reasonable. Guess I must have missed that tip. ;)

BTW... The parts I used were: Raybestos PG Plus rotors, Quiet stop pads, Monroe reflex shocks, and OEM bushings. Truck drives better than new, with better stopping and rebound control thus far. Very pleased.

Thanks to all that take time to share there knowledge and experience with others.! I have other projects planned and will continue to rely on this forum for direction.

Dan
