i got some autolite spark plugs was going to install them. should i use the stock gap of .040 or should i change it? this is gear towards better performance. the ignition system is stock.\

When I installed my Autolite plugs, I was told to gap at .040 over what was recommended. The guy at Autozone told me. They were also PLatinum plugs, aka best Autolite has to offer!!!!!
