Ok today i fixed my problem with the fuel pump. But after everything was hooked back up correctly i now have no gas gauge it just sits on E and has a light that says i need gas what can the problem be i have over a half of tank

Chances are you have a problem with the wiring for the sending unit at the fuel pump at the fuel pump. A lot of times the connector terminals will spread when messed with and then cause a loose connection. Or possibly a faulty sending unit...(might even just be stuck?) I would recheck my wiring first...
