Message:
Hi Everyone;

I've been having an issue with my AIR BAG light on my 2001 v6 cc (212,000 KM) I tried resetting the codes, but It just comes back on. Any ideas where else to look? I dont want to go to a mechanic b/c it would probably take $500 for him to figure out what it is. You guys are the pros in my eyes, so I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

Stathi

I agree!!!!! I love the truck, I just want to make sure that this isnt the sign of another problem to come or anything else that could be bad.

my guess would be the coil inside your steering wheel is broke. its like a 40 dollar part. i broke mine when i put my body lift on. if you horn doesnt work and you have the cruse buttons on the wheel too those wont work either if it is this.

Check your fuses...there are some on the dash on the drivers side or some how your clock spring could be bad in the steering wheel. Mine went out when I did a Body Lift and when I had the steering shaft my wheel turned to much and busted.
