Looking for new shocks. It's not lifted. I do travel around in the hills
off road. nothing to rough, and I pull a 22' travel trailer. Any Ideas?

I generally do the same driving you do, but maybe more street and fewer dirt roads. I do some towing, but not every day. I have Rancho RS5000's. Excellent shock. Vast improvement over stock. Nearly 50K miles on them, still working fine.

Bilsteins and Edelbrock IAS are probably better, but at three times the price they better be.

I've also heard excellent things about the Monroe Magnum. I havn't used those in many years, but the were pretty good then. They are a little cheaper than Rancho.

I used Rancho RS5000 and did not have the results others did. They where shot in less then three months.

I replaced them with Monroe Reflex and they have been great on road and off road.

I bought the great advertising and the Edelbrock shocks. Lot of money down the drain. I bought them from a "performance" shop who said contact the manufacturer who said go to the store which went out of business.
The only time my Dakota topped out and bottomed out. I replaced them after less than 200 miles with stock shocks, which last me 100,000 miles.
