Subject: Best pads to use w/PowerSlot rotors?
IP: Logged

Message:
At 47k I'm getting heavy pulsing in my brakes so am going to order some Power Slot rotors. What is the best all-around brake pad to use with the PS rotors? How about shoes for the rear??
Thanks,

DakotaCC

Many, including me, use the hawk performance pads. Low dust and no noise.

'04 Quad it's got 4 wheel discs I went with "Satisified" brand ceramic pads since Hawk doesn't list any pads for the rears of the '04. And these ceramics were way less expensive.

Thanks for the feedback. After talking it over with my son, who does a lot of off-roading with a custom-built Jeep, I'm going to try Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads. I'm looking forward to getting rid of the shimmy from my warped rotors and some improved braking from the upgraded pads.
