ok my truck just acted really strange again it ran good when i got out of work i came home for about 15 minutes went back to start it again and low and behold it started and immediatly died. So i started it again and it started to backfire around 1600 rpms so i pulled over shut it off started it again shut it off started it and it ran good until i got back home no clue what is doing this but i had my battery checked and they said my battery is still in perfect condition help me out

Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how your battery could possibly cause the symptoms you're describing. As long as your alternator is working, once the vehicle is running you can disconnect the battery and the truck will run fine. You may not have much for accessories, though...
But as for the backfire, maybe your timing is off. But that would likely show up all the time. Sometimes a vacuum or intake air leak will cause the problems you describe. Check that everything is tight on the intake. Good luck.
