Hey. I have an 01 4x4 ext cab Dak.Does anyone know of an after market source for a roof rack that looks like the ones on the Nissan Xterra.A permanent type.You see I want to use it in conjunction with a trailer hitch t bar to carry a canoe.

how about adapting the one you like from Nissan. I wouldn't think it would be very difficult.

Yakima makes one that fits into your receiver hitch. It has a companion that fits on the roof of your truck. You can have a shell on without interference and the canoe would rest on the back and front bars.

Your Dodge dealer can tell you if the Mopar roof rack will fit.
I've seen them on QuadCabs.
They mount permanently with screws through the roof though and do create a bit of wind noise.
But you get the Nissan affect.
