Subject: Timing Chain install questions

I am changing the timing chain on a 5.2l. I pulled the Crank sprocket using a 3 jaw puller. Whats the best way to put it back on .... sure is a tight fit!

The FSM doesn't address your problem. May I suggest using a soft headed hammer and lightly tapping it into place. Let us know if that works for you.

They come off hard, but generally will go right on with minimal force if you clean up the crank snout and have a new gear to install.
