Subject: Auxiliary Power outlet IP: Logged
Message: I looked under the dash near the fuse panel, but don't see any fuses. Also, my Hanes manual doesn't mention where the fuse is. Can someone please tell me where exactly the fuse is for the power outlet, and if it is exposed or in one of the plastic boxes?
Thanks!

Message: Have you checked the owners manual? I think it's shared among other devices. Perhaps the radio or dome light.

Message: lol I had this problem last year in my 1999 Dakota. It wasn't in the manual either.
It turns out that the fuse for the power outlet in my truck is in the fuse/relay box under the hood. It's not a regular looking fuse. It's one of those bigger fusible link looking fuses with the clear plastic top. They are pretty big. You can find them at auto parts stores.
